Real estate developer Porto Franco and furniture seller Treimann Furniture OÜ signed a lease agreement. Treimann furniture showroom is expected to open in September 2021 in Porto Franco’s I-building.
On the 1st floor of the I-building, the showroom will be 729 square meters – a threefold expansion of the company’s existing store. According to Liina Treimann, the owner of Treimann furniture salon, they are very pleased that they have won the trust of Estonian customers within four years of operation and are now opening a home furnishing salon three times larger than before with an innovative concept. “A much larger salon provides an opportunity to bring new and inspiring interior design brands to the market, as well as to significantly improve the product range of existing partners in the physical store,” said Treimann. “The location and concept are ideal – Porto Franco supports our main goal of providing not only products but also emotions as choosing and buying furniture should be an enjoyable experience.”
Rauno Teder, Porto Franco’s Chairman of the Board, said that a large furniture salon is a good addition to the current tenants of the development as they will offer Porto Franco’s future visitors a variety of shopping and leisure opportunities. “Most of the rental space in the Porto Franco I-building will be ready to move in to at the end of this summer or in the early autumn,” said Teder. Citybox Tallinn Hotel was the first tenant at the beginning of May last year.
Porto Franco’s multifunctional city quarter will have an area of more than 150,000 square meters. The Porto Franco complex consists of three underground floors with 1,170 parking spaces and commercial rental spaces, and five above-ground floors for a shopping center, office spaces and a hotel. Cafes and restaurants, a hotel, a hypermarket and a large number of shops and offices will begin their operations in Porto Franco.
Treimann Furniture and Design is a family business that was established in 2017 with the aim of offering high-quality interior design products with a modern design, straight from the heart of Europe. In addition to the salon on Poordi Street in Tallinn, which opened in autumn 2017, the company’s operations are complemented by an e-shop with a diverse selection of items. Alongside furniture, the company also offers interior accessories and works by Estonian and foreign artists as well.
