Coolbet opens a new office in Porto Franco
06.10.2023

Coolbet, the B2C brand by GAN Ltd and multi-award-winning sportsbook, casino, and poker operator, has opened the doors today of its new corporate headquarters. Located at the new Porto Franco multifunctional center in Tallinn, the 3.975 m2 office is now open to 324 employees based in Estonia.

The expansion to a bigger office is part of Coolbet’s growth plans and serves as the location where most of the company’s employees work. With operations in ten countries, five of which are in Europe, four in LatAm, and one in North America, Coolbet employs more than 400 employees worldwide.

The new space was designed in response to the expansion plans, and to provide teams with a more welcoming and collaborative atmosphere, with the capacity to accommodate up to 400 people.

“We are very happy, and proud, to be moving into what are arguably the nicest offices in Tallinn. We are very happy to have had good collaborations with local developers, designers, and architects to make this a reality. The state-of-the-art office will support our growth and make sure we have a smooth transition into normality post-pandemic and support cooperation, communication, and collaboration across departments”, affirms Coolbet President Endre Nesset.

“These days, an office is more than just a desk and a chair with a printer – it is important for employees that the space is well thought out, easily accessible and comfortable, and that it provides an inspiring environment. Porto Franco offers all of this, and as a result, both larger organisations – such as Coolbet, which has over 300 employees – and smaller companies are moving here, united by the need for a well-thought-out, high-quality solution, and location”, said Rauno Teder, Chairman of the Management Board of Porto Franco.

With its open floors naturally lit by large windows, the new space has 18 meeting rooms with different sizes and styles that are easily adaptable for multiple use cases. The new office has also introduced an All Hands Area, a collaboration space that accommodates all employees for live communications, workshops, celebrations, and Cool Lab Hackathons – a yearly initiative to boost innovation and drive the decision-making process for future projects.

People’s well-being was one of the key considerations when defining the architectural project. To align with the employees’ lifestyles, three new rooms were incorporated into the project. A game room with poker tables, ping pong, and various games in which employees can share their passion and have fun; a gym room to promote employees’ health; and a yoga and relaxation room to indulge some quiet time.

Located in the heart of the city, Porto Franco is the biggest office complex development in Tallinn, with stunning views of the Port of Tallinn and the Baltic Sea. Surrounded by restaurants, hotels, and a Shopping Mall, Coolbet employees can have access to a vibrant metropolitan environment, with easy access by car and public transportation.
