From September 5 to 20, 2024, Allfilm OÜ will film on the Porto Franco construction site, on the underground parking floors.

The filming of the second season of the Finnish series “Seconds” will take place in the construction of Porto Franco. The six-part series is about a unit of disaster and accident investigators. In Finland, there is actually such a unit whose job is to investigate accidents of catastrophic proportions. The first season of the series was also filmed in Estonia with Allfilm, and the subject was a train accident.

The action of the series takes place in present-day Finland, which is why all the shooting locations of the series in Estonia are anonymous and there is no direct connection with the content and shooting locations of the series. The Director of the series is Mikko Kuparinen, Cinematographer Jean Noel Mustonen and Production Designer Kirsi Tali. The series is produced by the Finnish production company Fire Monkey in cooperation with the Finnish national broadcaster, Yle. Filming of “Seconds” as well as many other international projects in Estonia is possible thanks to the Film Estonia rebate program. A total of nearly 150 actors and crew members are participating in the filming at the Porto Franco construction site.

Founded in 1995, Allfilm is the largest film studio operating in Estonia, whose activities vary from the production of feature films and documentaries to the production of TV series, commercials and music videos. Allfilm has produced such well-known films as “Truth and Justice”, “The Last Sentinel”, “Take it or Leave it”, “Kalev” and many others.
